| | rather mundane issue: removing the recycle bin icon from the desktop how would I remove the recycle bin icon from the desktop? I've tried right clicking--no option for its removal is apparent... thank you Dean |

| | Welcome to Windows Seven Forums. Right-click your desktop and choose Personalize then click Change Desktop Icons, and then uncheck the Recycle Bin before clicking Apply followed by OK. Desktop Icons - Add or Remove Click on the screenshot below to enlarge it.  |
