Computer may be corrupt totally? All there is are symbols everywhere.

Hey guys,

Posting on my other computer but the main one has totally died! From boot up to normal running all there are is symbols.... i will post some screenys, i cant open files, it brings an error box up with random symbols, file names are symbols, program names are like in the start menu. Its very odd.. However when i opened firefox everything has these like... its like the infinity sign and underneath is a number, at first i thought it could be a number of an array... but it could be an ASCII number although... im not sure how likely that is as i haven't cross referenced yet... anyway....
