windows 7 icon help

can some one please help me all of my icons have all turned into windows 7
and i am running on windows 7 + im new

didnt work guys whenever i open the icons it says open with

it wont even let me open up paint or snipping tool

i was going to try that but that wont open to
so i might just wipe the laptop.

Try downloading and merging the .exe default file association from here - Default File Type Associations - Restore
