Windows 7: No icons on desktop

No icons on desktop

Hi, i just added a 2nd user to my pc and i dont see any icons on desktop (can see icons name but not the icon), i can see the windows taskbar but if i click on the win logo, nothing happens, the strange thing is, if i log in back to my original accounti can see the icons. In other words i only have this problen on the 2nd or 3rd user, any help, thanx.

What happens when you right click on the desktop and choose 'personalize'... click on "change desktop icons", then click 'restore default'?

didn't helo ( The major problem is that when I click at the start menu, nothing happens as well... I mean nothing appears (

Right click on desktop -> View -> show desktop

Just a thought, try to open another account. Maybe the one you have is defective.

Already tried, no effect. The desktop itself should be okay, but something with graphics must be wrong.... :-(

Just a thought, try to open another account. Maybe the one you have is defective.

Tried several times, it's still the same no matter whether the other account is a standard or administrator one.
