What are you doing / what application are you trying to run when this comes?

I asked because back when I was using XP I once got this and, if I recall it right it happened with nLite. The problem was a corrupt fontfile. I had to fix my fonts to fix this issue.

I had major problems with nero 9 on all my Windows 7 machines, and earlier on Vista too.

I got rid of that bloated sh*t and use BurnAware Free.

Brilliant little program, only 5mb, can burn cd, dvd,s and bluray.

Works flawlessly.

F17ZY, IMO this is either a font or .NET Framework issue. You could try the system file correction utility:
- Open command prompt as administrator
- Type sfc /scannow

If the issue is a corrupt / missing font or fonts like I think, this should fix it.

Please notice that sfc can take up to half an hour to run. Afterwards you can check if something was corrupt and fixed by opening cbs.log from C:\Windows\logs\CBS. To read these log-files with Notepad you have to run Notepad as an administrator and then open file from File > Open.
