    type this in msinfo32.exe thin click on it, it will tell you just look at Hardware Abstraction Layer line.

    open up a terminal window (cmd) and enter:slmgr -dlv. you will see the build number at the top.

    Where do you guys get the Update? Windows Update finds nothing, and I'm still using 16385.

    Man, Ive never seen so many people willing to risk so much to gain so little .. makes me wish I was still in the game .. I'd own your boxes in 2 minutes... all for a change in a build number ...

    Also you can do this look for this string BuildLabEx in Registry and you can get the build numbers this way also.
