Unsure how to best describe issue... Open programs try to "re-open" For instance, if playing solitaire, the icon for the open program down on the task bar will start "sliding in" over top of itself again, as if it is just being reopened. I am sorry I really don't know how else to explain it. But when it happens it goes very quick sometimes with rapid successions of the occurrence and it makes it difficult to use the program. When these flashes of "opening" occur, I cannot do anything and the program may freeze. For instance, Firefox just "opened" over top of itself and it paused my typing and I had to reclick in the box to type again. It does not open a new window or tab, but it is like the same window or program is trying to reopen itself. Any suggestions? | My System Specs |

Welcome to Windows Seven Forums.
I'm just wondering if it's connected to Aero and jump lists on your task bar.
You could try disabling Aero to see if that stops these events occurring. At least we would then know where to start looking. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number HP Pavilion Elite 495UK OS Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64-Bit CPU Intel Core i7 870 @ 2.93GHz Motherboard MSI 2A9C (CPU1) Memory 8Gb Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 664MHz Graphics Card nVidia GeForce GTX 460 1024MB dedicated RAM Sound Card Realtek HD Audio Monitor(s) Displays HP2310i Screen Resolution 1920 x 1080 Keyboard Logitech K750 solar-powered keyboard Mouse Logitech Wireless M180 mouse PSU 460W Case HP Elite Cooling Air cooled Hard Drives 1x1954GB Hitachi HDS22020ALA 330 (RAID), 1x1954GB Hitachi External for backup and storage Internet Speed 2Mb Other Info Pure Avanti Flow Internet Radio with iPod Dock, 64Gb iPod, HP USB Speakers, Sony MDR-V500 Headphones, Sony Vaio F-Series Laptop |

Didn't work. I wish I knew how to best describe it. When you first open a program, and the icon slides in from the left part of the task bar, Thats what it looks like. Over and over. It doesn't usually occur right at the startup of the program. There is no discernible pattern that I can find. | My System Specs | | |
