Missing Files but no side effects

    Hi there:
I installed and deleted lot of software etc, after a week, 20 minutes into booting these messages pop-up on the screen in form of square little boxes :

Name Setup Name Setup Name Setup Name Setup
sys pcp not found rmorsm.dll not registered sysikv.dll missing emf sys file corrupted

But nothing malfunctions, except for the annoyance of clicking them off every time.
Any remedy short of a reinstall?

Run CCleaner both regular and registry. Also, in msconfig- startup tab uncheck any entry related to all the stuff you uninstalled.

    HI Bill2:
Thanks for the reply, is it possible to delete what is in the msconfig, rather than uncheck them?

Yes. Simplest way is open CCleaner, click on Tools tab in the left pane, click on Startup tab, highlight the entry you want to delete, click Delete in the right pane.

Try running sfc scan first, see what errors go away and what remain.

SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker
