| | Try this, go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Folder Options\View and UNcheck the boxes shown below. Thumbnail Previews - Enable or Disable  In any Explorer window upper right is the icon view list as a drop-down menu, you can change how icons/thumbnails are displayed.
