    USB: Help pls

    I have a 16 GB USB. I formatted it in Win7 Fat32.
Computer doesn't recognize it first time. It makes a noise, but nothing happens. I take it out and plug it in 2nd time. This 2nd time, the computer, after making noise, recognizes the USB.
Does it need a driver or something to make the computer to recognize it the 1st time? Do I need to format it in NTFS please?
    Your help's greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    Hi,

Can you try this tutorial and see if this helps you at all:

USB Driver - General Fix for Problems

Generally, the format of the USB drives depends on what you want to use it for. For the most part, you should format it to NTFS.
