Snipping tool not working is hardly a reason to re-install windows not at this point anyway.Read through the thread again following each of the steps closely.Try using the download I linked to, all the files needed are in the zip - Snipping Tool Missing

You do make an outline of what you want to save in the Snipping tool, don't you?
