| | Windows 7 explorer in hanging and do not respond for long time HI GUY I HAVE A WINDOWS 7 INSTALLED BY SONY VAIO FACTORY. After 2 month use it ,its window explorer sometimes for a long time (i don't know its time certainly)do not respond and dont show its items (for example:disc drives); is it because of virus? is there anyone to help and guide me? before every thing i thank you |

| | Welcome to Windows Seven Forums. You could try a clean boot in an effort to pin down what is causing Windows Explorer to hang. Troubleshoot Application Conflicts by Performing a Clean Startup Last edited by Brink; 10-08-2011 at 02:11 PM.. Reason: replaced link with one of ours for the same ;) |

| | Sometimes running sfc /scannow will solve the problem. It did for me. |
