Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64 bit
Need help with for loop

I need a loop that will check if a given file exists. If not, it should wait a second and then start over. If the file does exist, perform certain operations and then exit the loop and move on to the rest of the script. Google and the help files aren't helping much though :-(
