Windows 7: Data Overwriting Not Working?

I would try Acronis or Dban they are both really good and work. Dban can be loaded on a usb stick and set to do as many passes as needed. Acronis can be downloaded to a cd/dvd and also set can be set for as many passes as needed.

Just a thought.
