ALT + F4 Shut down windows icon - disabler

    Heya

I've just installed my service packs and I have an issue. When I click ALT +F4 I have that icon pop up asking how to shut down windows - I cant have it in my line of work. How can I disable it again ?

    Thanks, bye.

    Heya

Not I've seen them but they want to disable ALT+F4 In general for all aps. I want to use it for closing applications I just dont want it to open that Windows Shut Down Icon every time I reach Desktop.

    Thanks, bye.

Just don't press it when at desktop... All your apps will close using it, but pressing it again at desktop will bring up the shut down options.

Curious to what line of work would prohibit a little box popping up that's easily got rid of =P

I just hold alt + F4 untill all aps are cosed

I work in CGI, if I work in photoshop / 3d work on project for 6h imagine how much damages an ALT + F4 + accident key press would cause....

The app will ask you to save your work first and the computer won't shut down until you hit enter.

Plus unsaved apps tend to stop windows shutting down and only clicking force shutdown will shut it down.

Plus regular saves stop that happening and counting how many apps you have on the task bar then pressing alt f4 the same number of times

Yea I know that, But it happens to me that windows did close down few times in past and I lost my work (due to update ) so I still I do not want to have any funky pop up windows asking if I want to shut down windows - is it really that hard to disable this 1 annoying pop up ? Why did we got it back in 1st place anyway :/
