If your CPU supports 64-bit operating systems you can install them. If it does not, than you cannot.

Its my g/fs computer.

Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo T7100 (1.8GHz/2MB L2Cache)

How do I figure out if that's a 64 bit processor?

If your asking about the system in your Specs, I would think so. Most newer computers will handle 64 bit but it is hardware specific.

One last question.

She has Vista x32 on her notebook. Her processor is 64 compatible. I found out I can not run the setup for a 64 Win 7 from the x32 OS. So I guess I have to make my setup files into a bootable iso. How can I go about that? With magiciso?

Hey Ex

Do you have one ISO (for 64bit) or a bunch of files for the install? magiciso, or poweriso would work just make sure to make it bootable or it will not boot. Also you might want to hunt down the 64 bit drivers before hand just in case.

Good Luck

The Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo T7100 is definitely 64 bit.
All core to Duo are.

I just entered it in google and had a few thousand hits on that thing.

You say you want to install it on "her" machine?

Please be careful!! backup everything! Favorites, Address Book, Emails, and email accounts, and of course all the files.

Or you will be asking for a good marriage counselor next.

I dont have it iso format at the moment. Just the extracted files/folders. I need to get them back into one iso file and make it bootable. Trying to figure out the easiest way to go about it.
