Windows 7: Display turns off when I close the lid

Display turns off when I close the lid

Hello, My Laptop screen turns off when I close the lid also I have edited the power options and the plan settings and I choosed to never turn off the display, please help

The screen turning off when the lid closes it a function of the hardware. Not controllable via Windows.

you did reboot the system since you made the changes? stupid question but have to ask.
my laptop doesn't have a setting in the bios but it's possible your does. mine always comes back on but it didn't used to if I put it to sleep.
that problem is something a lot of people have issues with because of a poor graphics card. sometimes a updated driver works.

When I open the lid again, The screen supposed to open again. That was happening before, I don't know what happened now
