Determine action that woke up computer

    All,

My Win7 x64 machine has recently developed a bad habit - it wakes itself up from S3 standby mode! Is there an event log, or something similar, which would allow me to determine what woke the computer? While I doubt that there is malware on my machine, I would really like to track down the cause of this behavior.

    Thank you.

    All,

Thanks for the prompt, and useful, replies.

Using the lastwake command, I found that the culprit was Media Center. I am thinking about upgrading my HTPC and launched Media Center on my computer to see what it is about. Seems that once you do that, it creates a handful of scheduled takes which run daily and/or weekly. I disabled those tasks so hopefully my computer will not get to sleep peacefully all night long...

    You're very welcome.

Pleased to hear you found the culprit and thanks for the update as the solution may help others in the future.
