    Startup list - Cmiboot.exe?

    Hi,
I've noticed an item in my startup list in System Configuration named Cmiboot.exe. I've put it in Google and can't find anything associated with this at all. It's living at C:\Windows\cmiboot.exe

Does anyone know what it is as I'm not familiar with it at all.

    Thank you!

After a bit of searching I came across this:

Review: cmiboot.exe is a main executable for card-reader from C-media company. It activates a task bar in a tray. This file is safe, was not marked as a threat or virus-containing application by any antivirus software. Check the MD5 hash, there can be more versions of this file.
    Source: systemexplorer.net

So basically its a program/driver for your card reader (SD, MMC... cards)
