Favorites are Missing when I download IE 9

I downloaded IE 9, and the yellow star with my Favorites is missing along with all my favorite links. Unless there is a way to get them back(and I have no clue how) I will just go back to IE 8, any help would be greatly appreciated. I have Windows 7. Im also pretty much computer "challenged" so if someone could explain it very simply, lol would be great. Thanks

Look on the top right, next to the address bar .... there should be a white star. click it. Your Favorits, History and Feeds are there.
