Waiting for Windows 7 Official Release ...

I have been using Windows 7 at work now for a few weeks now and am mightly impressed. So impressed in fact I am considering upgrading my home PC to 7100 RC.

However, as I am in the middle of a project on my home PC, I am reluctant to make the move.

So I am holding off until the official release date so I can buy my own copy.

    The jump from ...

    ... Win3x to Win9x was big
    ... Win9x to Win2K was also significant
... WinXP to Vista was OK
... Vista to Win7 will be brilliant.

I honestly can't wait, but will just so I only have to re-install all my programs once.

I am currently running the "RTM" 7600.16385. However, I am a Technet subscriber, so as soon as it hits on the 6th, I am going to clean install, just so that I know that I have the final result from MS, and so that I have keys to activate.

I have tested Windows 7 since 70xx(I think it was 7022), and now I have installed HomePremium of RTM, without activation, and hope that enougth time to got my serial Octobre 22, to activate it legaly.

here a little "WARNING" to be sure to my Windows 7 work until I get my licences, I tryed the Frankenstein trick, and other "cracks", but everytime, yes it activted my Windows, but othes thing like Windows Media Centre sopped working..... Windows did take much longer to boot..... A lot of stuff that is not so buggy if you keep a clean install.

Please do NOT crack Windows, this Work of Microsoft is to good, to be stolen.

theft - Definition from the Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary

as no property is deprived from use by it's owner it's not theft.

    It's copyright infringement.

And a bootloader is not a crack.

A bootloader used to bypass Windows activation...through SLC or anything else I won't dicuss here is a crack

I'm using RTM, and will use the re-arm until it's available for purchase.
