Frequent items missing, recent items are there (Windows Explorer)
I have a problem with the right-click menu of the pinned Windows Explorer icon in the taskbar. I used to see recently used items and frequently used items there, but now I only see the recently used items. I find the frequently used items very useful and now it's gone. I want it back!
I attached a screenshot of how my menu looks like.
I found the advice to delete all files in %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\AutomaticDestinations and let the items repopulate over the next few days of regular use. Problem is it only repopulates the recently used items. There's not even the caption for the frequently used ones in the menu.
I also found the tip to temporarily disabling the corresponding privacy options in the start menu settings, and then re-enabling them later. Didn't work either.
So, maybe someone has an idea what else I could try?
Thanks a lot for reading!
