    Problem Steps recorder

I just been playing with Windows 7 "Problem Steps Recorder"

    I love it

You can use Problem Steps Recorder to automatically capture the steps you take on a computer, including a text description of where you clicked and a picture of the screen during each click (called a screen shot). Once you capture these steps, you can save them to a file that can be used by a support professional or someone else helping you with a computer problem.
For anybody thats not seen this yet, just type steps into your start search bar.

That's pretty cool John, I bet that would save Shawn allot of time doing tutorials.

Pretty cool. Only limit I can really see is if you want to add a comment while a menu is open, as clicking will close it. Would be even better if you could record it as a video, say like a .flv or the "Silverlight" equivalent.

Whoa, now this is cool. I wonder if this is just a beta application meaning just for 7 in beta status to report problems then they take it out when 7 is finalized. But I guess not by the sound of what the help is saying. Now if you can only have sound as well.

    Nice find John

Not sure how you found it - Why would you be typing "steps" into the search bar - a music search perhaps

Have had a chance to play with this now and can see it making things easier for anyone trying to support users as the system is soo easy to use. on a phone call simple instructions to run a session with this and email it - so simple - I like it too

I think I found something. It's pretty neat (and free!) and doesn't require anything to be installed (assuming you already have Flash and Java installed). You can record right from your browser.
