How to do something automatically within a program

Hi all,

I'm curious to whether this is possible, and I'm pretty sure it must be but I need to learn a little more first.

I want, at a certain time, firefox to launch a web page (already got this bit sorted) and then to press a button in firefox on a webpage. It's a radio streamer and I want the play button pressed.

Does it require a script? I'm not experienced at all with writing scripts unfortunately, one of the many things I have to learn.

Thanks for all replies,
StubbyHS
