Go to this site and download Speccy - System Information - Free Download
It will give you specs on your PC. Under the Disk Drive look at the S.M.A.R.T readings and post them. It will show what is going on with the drive and what may have caused the errors. See my example.

Thank you for the software link have included the results in this thread and still can't do a CHSDSK on the system sadly, still says previous software installation conflict stopping it from working.

I suggest you do SFC /SCANNOW a couple more times till it found no further errors. Then try to do the CHKDSK.

Run it again and found no errors like the 1st time I ran it should I have a go one more time to double check?

Ran it a second time and nothing, followed a few suggestions on the microsoft site in this thread for links and hasn't helped, really puzzled by this issue.

Have you run a Windows memory test or Memtest?

If you have multiple sticks of RAM, you might see if you can run check disk using only a single RAM stick.
