    lol, it's just software dude.

Do you maintain a set of computers that run XP or something?

Did you ever run it and if so did you feel that way then?

You should stop by msfn.org and see all the Windows 9x users. To them it's the best OS MS ever made. I wish some of the newer OS's were in some ways more like 9x.

Eventhough I hate XP and wish it would die...I still think that Microsoft should drop DX10 to XP users and let Vista users have DX11...Hand-Me-Downs here in their OSs
Well as far as I can tell the reason there is no DirectX 10 or 11 for Windows XP is because the lack of WDDM which the current versions are built on top of.

I use 7 AND Xp because i like them as much i hate them.
XP is nice for stability and compatibility, yet it misses some technical innovations
that came over the years (multithread, fixable NTFS).
7 is nice for performance, work and gaming but it lacks some compatibility with
programs witch makes the very system unstabile!

AND THAT'S WHY I DUAL BOOT!

    p.s. Can i mark both?

Indeed I do maintain computers that run XP...5000 at my University and they crash and/or don't work adqately all the time...so yes I feel this way. All of our Vista machines at the college (very little of them) do need work sometimes but I rarely have to look at them. Our test machines running 7 (10 of them) have only been glanced at twice. I can't wait until we roll out 7 across the board. I was so happy when our IT department announced no more selling and only limited support of XP. Most of the end users running Vista hasn't been an issue
