    IE Startup Screen


    Does anyone know how to permanently turn off the startup screen in IE. Everytime there's a problem it seems to go thru the initial IE startup procedure. I just want it off.

    do you mean the windows where it wants you to choose search engine and stuff ?

    its simple to fix
    its just a registry key that needs to either be added or edited

Hi there, I developed a problem with my desktop pc yesterday. I was gaming and the screen began to flicker then the game crashed - citing "rendering device lost". I tried to re-load this again and the same thing happened again, this time with a BSOD. I tried a different game and the same thing...
After the Starting Windows screen a blank black screen with a cursor that I can move pops up that lasts a minute (shouldn't happen with SSD, used to be ~10 second boot). Afterwards the login screen will appear as normal and everything works as normal. This doesn't happen when I boot into safe mode....
Usually POST screen would show up first with a laptop company logo, but now Windows 7 startup appears first instead. Then, the Windows 7 startup screen freezes immediately. What's the problem? Motherboard or corrupted BIOS? Thanks.
Upon booting my computer, I'm presented with the option to go into startup repair, or start normally. If I start normally, it loads the logo, but before it gets to the login screen, it crashes to the boot screen. If I select the startup repair option, it shows a loading bar, which completes, but...
