    There is no full screen while running some programs or games.


    Hi all.

    I run win 7 sp1 on dell inspiron 1520.

    Wenn i open some programs or games, there are two black parts at the right and the left of the screen.

    I have also uptated all my drivers using widows update and also drivers genius professional.

    wenn i was running xp, there wasn t this problem.

    There may be a setting in your video drivers to allow a lower resolution to stretch to fill the whole screen.

    As a side note, I don't trust third-party apps to handle my drivers updates...not when they are simple to do yourself, to make sure they are installed properly.

    Change the resolution of the games to match the resolution of your monitor. Otherwise removing the black bars is just going to distort the image. Why you would want that...

    Its not just the games. some other programs also have this problem that of course do not have any settings for changing their resolution !
