Remove BIOS password for Toshiba NB500 -00D?

This is my sexy friend's mini laptop. She set BIOS password and forgot it
I googled and find nothing helpful. Tried pressing 0 and power on, didn't work.
It's Toshiba NB500 -00D with Windows 7 Starter. I can't get past the bios password. Any tips or suggestion? Or I'm really stuck?

You are going have to contact Toshiba and ask if they have or use a Master Password for their BIOS.
Otherwise, you are SOL (Sorry Out of Luck).

Take out the battery, the one on the motherboard, it will clear the password.
You can google your model and find it.

    IE this link:

Find your battery for your specific laptop and you will be fine.

That doesn't work on laptops. They use what is called a "Security Chip" that handles the password functions of the BIOS.

    Good point logicearth

Some laptops are different, I am more familiar with desktops.
I googled Toshiba's site and it states this..

Support :: Toshiba :: Computers, Laptops/Notebooks, Tablets, Televisions, DVD and Blu-Ray Players, Camcorders, Storage, Accessories, and more

Sorry op, didn't mean to put out bad info

Some BIOS manufacturers implement a backdoor password. The backdoor password is a BIOS password that works, no matter what the user sets the BIOS password to. The Toshiba Satellite Manufacturer backdoor password is “Toshiba”. This BIOS password may simply have the same checksum as the real backdoor BIOS password.

Press F2 to Bios, When the BIOS prompts you to enter a password; entering “Toshiba” may allow you to access your PC and clear the old BIOS password. Another option is to hold the left “Shift” key down while booting.

Thanks everyone for comments. Yes only option looks like is contacting Toshiba. Sharakate's post seems great but it doesn't work on this lappy. Anyways really appreciate your comments.
