Running from Safe w/ Networking. Still nothing. I have task manager open and I see it in the processes as ComboFix.exe*32 for a second and then it goes away again. So I guess it's an issue with something other then a virus/Malware?

    Hi,

Please do NOT attempt to run ComboFix without professional guidance from a trained malware fighter : this is hardcore software that will easily render your system useless if you do not know what you are doing. All downloads of Combofix specifically carry this warning. Ignore it at your peril.

Try the System Sweeper recommendation in post #7, and also this guide as a start:

HaHa yes i am trained malware fighter so he was in good hands...
it seems to me that there is some processes that is locking the system.....
there are some new little nasties on the seance that are overpowering the most hardcore of removal tools
I would be interested in the task manger list to see if i could pinpoint the process that is causing the issue!

If you have another desktop or external case, I would remove the hard drive and plug it onto another computer and run Malwarebyte from there. Hope that helps.

That would be the task manager. Although my screenshot doesn't show the svchost.exe*32 loading and dying over and over. So add that on to it.

Yes iv checked over and over the process list and every process seems to be legitimate
Is there any unusual icons in the bottom right of the task bar or any unusual programs popping up at start up other than the ones you know of like curse ect?

Edit: svchost.exe*32 means there is a 32 bit program trying to start-up but something is preventing it from doing so

No programs. However I've been getting error messages on login for a week now. Always the same. There were three, but I found one in msconfig>startup and stopped that. One involves Apple, and the other the Kodiak printer thing. Both unable to start or something. And prior to that it would startup with these bizzare photo download messages(All named random letter combos like rzririkzr) that filled up the temp folder with little pictures of french flags even though cancel was hit every time they pop up. I think Ad Aware eventually caught that though and they haven't been appearing for about a week since the last full scan.

Oh and MSN Messenger started to randomly load on it's own on startup a week ago as well. Would load with some random email like hbservices or something. Like one of the errors though I just went into msconfig and took MSN off the startup list.

Just a suggestion, Have you tried to do a disk repair using the original disk that came with your system or another vista disk from a friend. If I am not mistaken you can put the vista disk amd go thourgh the regular proces until you see the option of bieng able to select repair. Or your other option may to take your HD out and back up your documents and other stiff using a HD cable kit and connect it to another computer via usb. Then just do a complete reinstall of the operating system.

    Still Learning, Learning still

No, haven't tried to repair anything yet. Was hoping to save that until I'm out of ideas.

curtiswardwell's suggestion is a good one, it sounds to me like only part of the problem was resolved and has left some vital services in a bit of a pickle
but before you do so try going threw Task manager ending USER processes threw process of elimination until you can regain control of your system taking note of which process was ended
if your successful in regaining controll then go to the processes startup entry and stop it.
    then retry your scans
you may also want to try:
    Spybot Search & destroy
    Malware Bytes
    Avast: Boot time scan
and if they fail try to re-run Cobofix (heed the warning from Golden)

if nothing seems to work that anyone here has suggested then try curtiswardwell's suggestion
