Are these links safe to click on...

I always see these kinds of links on this site and was wondering if these links are safe to click on or are they ads just advertising some companies products? Thanks.

Those look like something you might see when you aren't logged in, I never log out

    so I don't see them.

They look like something that this site is promoting. But, then again, everything is for sale nowadays. Thanks.

This site is most definitely not promoting tools as in your example link. It's just that sites like the Seven Forums have costs and to cover those costs advertising is the simpliest, best solution, helping to keep forums free. Unfortunately those ads sometimes are advertising some not so good products.

Luckily those ads are seen only by guests. If you log in, you have no ads on the Seven Forums.

This site isn't promoting anything but help and information for the Windows 7 OS.

They are just advertisements which you don't see once you are logged in.

Sounds good and now I noticed that they are not seen once logged on. We learn something new everyday and this is one of those situations. Thanks.
