Windows 7 will not start on Toshiba Satellite Laptop. Please help. :(
Posting from my family's computer atm.
I have a Toshiba Satellite a505-S6025 laptop, and I've had it for about a year and a half with literally no problems. Now, this:
Computer was on. I shut it for transport, which put it to sleep. When I opened it back up to use it, everything I had open loaded back up just fine, but the track pad would not activate. I could still cycle through tabs and such using the keyboard, though. I shrugged it off and plugged in my mouse, but the computer did not acknowledge it, and froze. I shut it down with the power button. Upon restart...
The Toshiba screen pops up as normal, but then it goes black for a minute or two. Then it will go to the Starting Windows screen, with those words and the glimmery windows logo. And then it just sits there, forever. I went into the Setup menu and restored the defaults, but it did not fix the problem.
Does anyone know what this could be, and most importantly, how I could fix it? I use that computer for, well, everything. Any help will be so, so much appreciated.
