Unable to Locate and Recapture Files in Win7's Default Temp D/L Folder

Where or how can I 'locate' and 'move or copy' downloaded files in Win7 x64 Home Prem's Temporary Download Folder.

Sometimes I forget to save a file d/l and remember later that I really needed it.

Can anyone please assist to provide the path and advice for locating and retrieving these files?

XP used to store these temp files and folder in a folder somewhere labeled BZxxxxx. I was able to go back and grab the file or d/l and save it correctly because I saved the BZxxxxx folder loacation as a favorite. Can't seem to find it in Win7.

    Thank you ahead of time.

Click on the C:\ drive then Users ... click on your profile name and 'Downloads'. Are they stored there?

    Thanks for the reply.

The files I intentionally "saved to" downloads are there but the temporary files not saved are not. In XP, when a page or document was opened, whether it be from the network downloaded file or even from a link (such as an email included link) that opened page or link was made the active page being viewed. A temporary copy of the downloaded and now active document was stored on my computer in a folder labeled BZxxxxx (something like this folder name) unless it was intentionally saved to a location. If the document was not saved it was still saved and stored in the BZxxxxx location.

That temporary folder path is what is eluding me.

I think (which can be a difficult task at times)

    The location/path is simular to;
    ~~ User>AppData>Local>Microsoft>Windows>Temporary Internet Files>ContentIE5> (and some random folder name - ex. JTOZL52S)

When i follow the path to > ~~ Windows>Temporary Internet Files (this is the folder that is hidden and i dont see how to unhide the 'Temporary Internet Files' folder even though View all files/folders is active)

    I attached a Screen Shot

    Update -

I was able to get Temporary Internet Files folder to show by unchecking 'Hide Protected Operating System Files' from the Folder Options menu. However, still cannot get the 'ContentIE5' folder to show from within the Temporary Internet Files folder.

Please see attached and modified screen shot.

    Download Unhide.exe (http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/grinler/unhide.exe) (by Grinler)
Once the program has been downloaded, double-click on the Unhide.exe icon on your desktop and allow the program to run. This program will remove the +H, or hidden, attribute from all the files on your hard drives. If there are any files that were purposely hidden by you, you will need to hide them again after this tool is run."

Jacee -- Thanks! I tried it and it did work to 'unhide' a lot of folders/files. Thanks again.

However, it did not unhide the ContentIE5 folder.

Problem Solved - Please note that instead of trying to view the folder as the person logged on (which is what is normally done) I choose Users\Default in the path. All was revealed from there on.

Without unhiding the files/folder this might not have been solved. Thanks to all in the assist!!

    Computer\WIN7 (C:\ )\Users\Default\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5
