    Ordered 2 x Win7 E's, What will I Get?

I have to wonder what I will receive in October since Microsoft decided to drop the E versions. I orderd 2 x Home Premium Editions which must have been the full retail versions. I hope now that Microsoft is not going to fob us off with Upgrade versions now instead? If they do, I hope that a clean install can be done, otherwise I shall be asking for my money back, or put them on feebay!

Microsoft has said that those that ordered the E version through the upgrade
offer, will receive the full version...

    Have pre-ordered my copy:

Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate E -Retail

    From :http://www.overclockers.co.uk/produc...id=33&catid=20

@ Total inc Vat: £187.24 including postage due for release in the U.K 22 October 2009 was the best deal I could find.

I understand this will include both 32 bit and 64 bit versions

at the time the E version was conceived an upgrade version for us in europe didn't exist. as it was aimed to be released sans-browser it was to be clean install only, which is why the limited-time only offer was made to sell it at an upgrade price (they sold out pretty quickly like hotcakes). now they've decided to scrap E version the only difference now is IE-included. for those that got our pre-orders in quick enough we'll still be getting a FULL RETAIL version for the price we paid.

A cheaper way to get Windows 7 Ultimate (32 & 64bit) seems to be buying Vista with an upgrade voucher for Win 7 (product No. 66R-03061), which now sells at Overclockers Co UK at £159.99.
