You could try a system restore to see it gives back all the features.

Are you saying that it still isn't working?

Dwarf/I checked "Windows Modules Installer"' properties, then it is set as you shown int the pictures.

Brink/ I've tried "sfc /scannow", but not worked. I should try "repair install".

    Sammy/ I didn't install custom version.
    Windstory,

Double check the Windows Modules Installer service as Dwarf suggested above to make sure it is set to started and automatic first, if it is, then try the repair install.

You can try to see if following what I did (see below) can help to trigger it to work again.

I checked this by firstly stopping and disabling the service and then trying to get the Turn Windows features on and off panel to populate. It didn't, and remained blank. I then set the service back to Manual. It still showed the service as Stopped, but as soon as I accessed the above features panel, it automatically switched to Started and the panel populated normally.

When making adjustments to service settings, make sure that you do so in an account with administrative privileges.

Just another point. Between the time when this last worked and now, have you made any changes whatsoever to your system, either in hardware or software?

    Dwarf/

I installed Remote Server Administration Tools for Windows 7 -"Windows6.1-KB958830-x64.msu".

And, after 2 days uninstalled it by unchecking at "Turn Features on or off".

So you're saying that the feature worked before you installed this tool, whilst you had this tool installed and that you were able to uninstall this tool using this feature, after which the feature stopped working? Try reinstalling this tool and see if this feature returns.

Referring back here, you can see that it refers to the following executable C:\Windows\servicing\TrustedInstaller.exe. Check to make sure that this file is still on your system.

    Windstory,

I would go ahead and try the repair install then.
