    Where is recycle bin?

I'm beginning to wish this were an apple. Where is the recycle bin? It seems I have to jump through hoops to set up a backup scheme.

I would like to click on a recycle bin. Then click on a list of files in it. Then click on a spot to move the or copy the file. Remember that old Apple Ad that showed the old shoe and people dragging things from and to it? That's all. Drag, copy, save, delete, retrieve.

You can do that. It should be on your Desktop, if not restore it. Then click on it to access the files within.

Set the default size larger if you dont' want anything auto-deleted, go rightclick Bin>Properties.

Beware CCleaner and Disk Cleanup which will delete contents if you don't deselect these choices.

You can absolutely do that, no problem.
I'm not sure whether your issue is that you don't see any Recycle Bin, or that you can't seem to open it?

I didn't find Greg's post either. But I did manage to personalize the desktop to show the recycle bin. OMG. Could MS have made such a simple task any more obscure?

Anyway, Thank you for your patience in helping me find this.
