    ctrl + c & right shift + c broken

I have absolutely no idea how I managed to break these two combinations.
    StickyKeys isn't enabled.
    Any other key combination works.
I accidently hit the sleep mode button (on keyboard) I assume that broke shift + c, but ctrl + c wasn't working before.

I'm desperate; searching the web for solutions didn't bring up one yet.

Hope my English isn't that bad for I'm German.

    TIA

How long has CTRL+C been kaput?

If it has been for a while, there is a good chance the keyboard itself is already kaput and needs replacing.

Is this a laptop or a desktop?

Are both left and right CTRL / SHIFT affected?

    Better than my German :)

    it's a desktop pc,
they're broken since yesterday I may noticed ctrl + c earlier as i use shift + c less often
ctrl in any other combination works so does the right shift (left one even with C)
reinstalled keyboard drivers, sfc /scannow and unchecking in systemconfig/services+boot unnecessary services didn't anything good

Is it a keyboard that requires software to be installed to control media functions etc?

    Does it have macros?

If so, perhaps uninstall that driver/software and try using the Windows default HID-Keyboard driver to see if that makes a difference. if it does, there's provbably a setting in the app software causing the issue.

actually I reinstalled the HID-Keyboard driver, since i'm running w7 for almost a year (before vista) didn't use the provided driver
some macros are working like sleepmode, calc, play/pause etc.

    Good to hear it's 'fixed'.

Not so good to not know what caused it
