How to access Manage Blocked File extensions

    Hi,

I'm trying to run a reg file, however it's not allowing me and giving me a blocked file alert, how can i change the settings to allow it to run the reg file?

    Thanks
    Shri

"run the reg file"? Could you be a lot more specific?

What are you opening the file with?

Hello Shri, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Could you give a screenshot of this blocked file alert message?

Could this be some sort of security program (ex: antivirus) that you have installed that may be blocking you from running it if it thinks it's a threat?

    Hi,

I was basically trying to execute a .reg file to get some registry settings,

The problem is solved now, I was not having administrative access on the laptop, after getting the access I was able to set the registry.

    Thanks
    Shri
