Windows 7: D:\ Invalid access to memory location

D:\ Invalid access to memory location

I am getting this error when trying to access my Kingston Data Traveler flash stick on laptop today. It works on other machines fine.

I ran chkdsk with repair switch on it just now on same machine and it completed although log is not in Applications Event viewer.

Nothing via Google relates to this error with flashstick access.

Any ideas?

Update: Just got the same error with a long string of numbers when I tried to print to wireless printer which otherwise works.

Solved: Apparently it was a bad flashplayer plug-in update earlier today, because after SysRestoring from WinRE on F8 menu, the problems were gone.
