Logitech LX7 Mouse Does Not Work with Windows 7 RC

i have windows 7 64 bit rc running on my computer which i built

    the hardware is as follows:
GIGABYTE GA-MA78GM-US2H AM2+/AM2 AMD 780G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

2X 500 GB Western Digital Hard Drives Raid 0

ATI Radeon HD3200 video (with motherboard)

8 GB of Corsair DDR2 RAM

AMD Phenom II X4 920 Processor 2.81 GHz

the OS is running fine, but the mouse is barely usable. sometimes i can double click sometimes i cant. and when i left click on a link in firefox it takes me back to the home page.

has anyone else had any problems with this mouse and the rc? or any suggestions on how to fix it?

    thanks

There is a new version of SetPoint (4.80) that just came out today. Perhaps it will support W7 better. It seems to be doing so on my system with a Logitech vx Revolution mouse.

i installed set point from the link you directed me too, still no luck, it is very glitchy (i cant even use it to browse on the internet)

should i reinstall and see if that fixes the issue? or do anyone have any other ideas?
