    Nothing saves after reboots

Hello, I have a little problem with my laptop here, I am using Windows 7 enterprise 64-bit and everytime I reboot, nothing saves at all. This is quite annoying since I downloaded a 14GB game and it just vanished after reboot, now I got to download it again. I know there is a way to disable this thing, but I can't figure it out.

    Thanks in advance.

Are you running any backup programs? I had a backup program once that had the option to always return to the previous system image when the computer started. Why someone would want this feature, I have no idea. Could this be your problem, though?

I don't really think so. Unless I activated something without noticing.

Try going into the start menu, and type into the "search programs and files" msconfig. Select Diagnostic startup. Reboot your computer and see if this temporarily fixes the problem. Then repost here for subsequent steps. Edit: You may have to start msconfig again and select normal startup to get your internet and such working again.

You could have some malware that came uninvited to the party too. Look below my sig for MalwareBytes and Super AntiSpyware links. download the free ones, update and do full scans, in safe mode if they won't work. You can boot to Safe mode with networking by tapping F8 during start up.

Another thing to try is SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker to check for corrupted system files.
