| | I'm getting a new Dell Inspiron 15, will it run well? I'm gonna order a Dell Inspiron 15 this Monday, Are these specs ok? Ok it has 4gb of ram ddr2, it has an intel pentium dual core processor, Integrated Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator X4500HD Graphics Card. And also I'm choosing vista home premium 64bit will it run fine? |

| | everything looks good except the processor. Instead of dual core, go for core2duo for better performance and speed. It will cost you a little more but you wont regret it. Think about the long term.... |

| | I understand about the cost but you are already paying $500-600. So it wont make much difference if you add more 50-80$. At the end, you will be satisfied with the pc and there'll be no need for an upgrade in future. |

But in my country that configuration (custom build) is cheaper for about 100$... |

| | You should get the free Windows 7 upgrade offer so like they said above install Windows 7 on it and it will run much better than with Vista. Dude You're Getting a Dell |

| | I've been told that battery life is much better on the Core2Duo verses the Pentium. If you're a student that might make a difference to you. |

If you can afford the core2duo, buy it. It will mean you can run 64bit and that is the future. Have fun ask questions KEn |
