Desktop problem

    Desktop problem


    Hi guys yesterday i just got a problem with my desktop. My desktop is starting up but it only shows my desktop wallpaper.? Whats the prOblem with that?

    make sure that you're icons are not hidden.
    Right click on desktop and select View->Show Desktop icons.

    If that doesn't work run sfc/scannow

    how do i do this one? i cant even see the taskbar? i can see a mouse cursor

    If you get the cursor try this.

    Right click/screen resolution.

    Check to see that your monitor is being picked up properly. Happens to me with a fresh install. Don't know why.

    Press the 'flag' key (next to CTRL) and then tap the R key... You can run it from there...

    Although the symptoms aren't exactly the same, I keep thinking malware...

    Using 'Flag' and the E key, if explorer opens, you can see if the stuff in your profile has been hidden... Some malware does that... I haven't seen malware disable the task bar, but they change things all the time

    Flag + r key doesnt work too .. No window popping up when i tried to click that one..

    yeah i tried to click the view and no window popping up.... and when i click ctrl alt del the screen will go in black and no more mouse cursor
