Windows 7: I can't arrange my files. Only by folder.

yes, download Speccy - System Information - Free Download
go under operating system, it shows which date day/month/year etc the OS was installed

thats old... almost a year.imo, i suggest you better do a fresh install then. but be sure to make a back up of all your important things.

Ryan stated Win7 is pre installed.
If he needs to reinstal he will need to use the recovery disks or recovery partition.

Ryan did you look at the tutorial I posted earlier?

Yes I looked. I am able to sort my files THAT way but when I try to sort them via the "Arrange" option on the top right, it won't change to what I click. It just stays on "Folder".

Right now I'm more worried about why I get that error now when I create a new user. I feel like my Windows 7 is all screwed up. I really hope not.

yes @Ryan, check the link & see if it works. & fresh install is entirely up to you

I don't really have anything too important to save. Just pictures, videos and stuff like that. I can re-download programs and stuff. I have a 500 GB external hard drive which is definitely enough for what I have. I might go with that route if I can't find out what exactly is wrong.

well the reason,i suggested a clean install was .. because i didn't hear of this issue either. not sure if other members have or not.
