Eh, I uploaded it to a file hosting site. Not sure why you cant see it. But here I'll do it the other way.

Now what I mean is, when I try to click on the other options, it just makes a click noise and doesn't apply. Never used to do that.
click noise and no changes? have you tried it in another user?

Ryan, you might want to consider a full virus scan, for which Malwarebytes is ideal.

You can download the free version here: Malwarebytes : Malwarebytes Anti-Malware PRO removes malware including viruses, spyware, worms and trojans, plus it protects your computer

I do regular scans with Malwarebytes so I'll check that now.

Also what I meant earlier was. I can click on the other settings but it doesn't switch over to what I checked. It just stays on "Folder".

1 file infected so far out of 76,000. Will edit this post with the details if it seems relevant to my problem.

Will do that as soon as the virus scan is finished. If it works on a different user what will that mean?

    After the virus scan.

    From our tutorials.
Read though this and see if you can get the settings to work. File and Folder Arrangement - Change in Windows Explorer Window

It has pictures to follow. Easier than me trying to explain it here.
Let us know if that helps.

    Whoa whoa whoa whoa..

The virus scanned ended and it was some problem with the registry about the version of AOL Instant Messenger that I use. So no biggy... BUT.

The reason I say whoa is.. I just created a new user and I try to go into Documents and this happens.

It says "no such interface supported" when I try to click on basically anything. Documents, Pictures, Music. I can open Firefox, IE and paint etc.. But I can't save anything from paint.

WTF is going on? I also have 2 blank desktop icons that I am unable to view what they are. The only options I have are to cut and to delete I believe. Something is definitely wrong. Ughhhhhh.

I just created the new user and it gave me that error trying to view documents.

I bought this computer with 7 installed so I have no idea when it was installed. If there's a way to find out let me know.
