The calculator.. How to make it display the answer in the history?

I use the calculator so often. The history window is a great addition and an absolute must for me. I use the Scientific mode. OK, so lets say I do a basic addition. I click on "3 + 2" and then I click the equals sign. I see the answer "5" in the calculator window, I see the "3 +2" in the history window, but I do not the "5" in the history window One time I was able to get the "5" to appear on its own line right below the "3 + 2" in the history window with a separation line that looked something like "--------" on the line below the answer "5". I have no idea how I did it but I wish I could have the answer appear in the history window below each calculation. I know that I can click on the equation line in the history to see its answer, but I would prefer to just see the answers in the history. I did it once. Please help me do it again. Many thanks!
