Put desktop program back to program list?

I accidentally dragged a program from start / all programs to my desktop. Can someone tell me how I can "drag" it back / get it back to the program list?

    Thanks, Airpix / John

try dragging it back if not - reinstall the program that will appear it in the start menu again

reinstalling is a bit overkill - just drag it back in!

drag it to your start-button, wait for start-menu to appear.

then drag it over 'all programs', and again wait for list to open.

then drag it where you want - if you want it in a specific folder, hover over the folder name for a short while and the folder should open up >> let go of mouse button.

OR, right-click the desktop shortcut >> cut, then right-click on 'all programs' >> open >> navigate to folder >> paste

Thanks Folks, drag, hover and drop did the trick! I was trying to open: start / all programs and as soon as I would try to drag the program back from the desktop the "all programs" menu would disappear!
