    Date modified does not work

When I save a file from my email to my documents and show date modified, it never shows up at the bottom of the list.

It did show this in XP (although not all the time).

Why isn't it showing up at the bottom or top?

Is it to do with the date that the file was created on the other persons machine.

Is there a way to tell windows explorer to show the latest added file at the bottom of the date modified list?

    Regards,
    Lee

what sort of file is it - could you open and save it, thereby making it modified?

The date changed/time changed to the most recent, however it does not appear at the bottom or top of the list.

are you sure your view is sorted by date?

there should be a little arrow indicator, as in image below.

also have you tried pressing F5 to refresh the view? (you shouldn't have to, but it's worth a shot)
