Can Windows Search "auto search" be turned OFF??? I may be the only one on earth that does not like windows search [in 7] as it fires off at the first keystroke, wasting time/energy afaik.
is there a way to turn it off so that I can get my proper search string entered, then hit the key?? | My System Specs |

It shouldn't be causing any issues or slowdowns by searching right away. All it's doing there is accessing the index. | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1 CPU Intel Core i7-2600 Motherboard Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD3P-B3 Memory 12 GB Patriot Extreme DDR3-1333 Graphics Card Nvidia GTX 470 Monitor(s) Displays Dell UltraSharp 2209WA PSU OCZ ModStream 700W Case CoolerMaster HAF 912 Advanced Cooling CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Plus Hard Drives OCZ Agility3 240 GB, WD5001AALS, WD7501AALS |
