    Deleted Links folder ??


    Hi

    I've deleted Links folder by mistake ( permanently) .. and now the favorite navigation pane is empty .. I tried several solution but it won't work ..
    1) I tried to recreating it but no use
    2) shell:Links no use
    3) in the regedit no use

    what to do ? please help cause I liked the favorite and seeing my user folder without the links folder it makes me sad

    please HELP

    Wow .. it worked .. I copies Links folder frmo another laptop and pasted in my user folder first it appeard blank and without name but after closure of windows explorer every thing is back to normal , O.o it's weird but I'm happy sorry if I wasted any one time

    Good for you lastbreath! Actually, I don't think that's weird at all. I know of several people who have copied folders/apps/programs etc from other computers and they have worked perfectly well. I remember years ago, I purposely deleted all Games off of my work computer (because they were beginning to distract me from doing my work!!!), and then I thought better of it and tried to get them back, but couldn't. The only thing that worked was just exactly what you did --- copying the Games folder from someone else's computer. Voila! (And yes, I also had to learn to exercise some self control, playing the games only on my own time. . . )

    :) Thank you , and good for you , you were able to self control ( I can't handle watching computer without "playing , surfing internet , .... etc everything but not work !! thank god that I don't use computers in my job " it will be a disaster " )
